Description
The valley of Fond Aussois is easily accessible from dams. It is a flat area surrounded by the collar of Aussois, the Mass and Labby. Formerly living place of mountain farmers, there are a few cottages and the chapel Notre-Dame des Anges. A very easy place to take a walk with children, a first approach to mountain hiking. Magnificent, unobstructed 360° views of the mountain ranges surrounding Aussois, and remnants of the old alpagistes' buildings. In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, it's forbidden to pick flowers or bring dogs.
