Description
Aussois hosts the 6th stage of La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin, Europe's annual sled dog event. Europe's top mushers will be on hand for a spectacular race. For several years now, La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin has been the meeting place for the elite of mid-distance mushers.
The snow-front start is always a great spectacle, with the dogs stamping their feet on the line.
Free entertainment is also provided in the start village.
Program:
- Grand Nord village opens at the Aussois snow front: 11am to 7pm
- Continuous departures of sled dog teams from the snow front: 3 pm to 4 pm
- Continuous arrival of sled dog teams at the snow front: 4:45 pm to 6:40 pm
- Podium time at the Aussois snow front: 5:45pm

Friday 16 January 2026 between 11 am and 7 pm.
3 to 4 pm: Departure from the Aussois snow front
4.45pm to 6.40pm: Arrival at the Aussois snow front.
