Description
A festive day to celebrate the mountains and local know-how. On the program: entertainment, shows, tastings, demonstrations of trades of yesteryear. The festival was originally created by the Val Cenis High Mountain Guides to showcase the mountains through their profession. The Tourist Office and the Association "Les Ainés Ruraux" (Rural Elders) then got involved to bring back to life the agricultural work of yesteryear.
Mountain professionals (guides and escorts) returned to the festival (stands and demonstrations) to give it a new meaning: to help people discover the mountains (sporting activities / mountain rescue / agricultural work / traditions...).

2:00 p.m. start of climbing wall and introduction to wood carving

3:00 pm via ferrata demonstration

3:30 pm demonstration of old-fashioned mowing by the Ainés Ruraux (rural senior citizens)
