Established in 1963, the National Park Vanoise is the oldest French national park. It shares borders with the Italian National Park of Gran Paradiso. Twinned since 1972 they together cover an area of 1250 km2, the protected area the largest in Western Europe. This natural setting located partly in Terra Modana is a feeling of space to explore wildlife and beautiful flora.
