Description
Founded by Coluche in 1985, the Restos du Cœur is an association under the French law of 1901. Their aim is to help and provide voluntary assistance to people in difficulty. They were set up in Modane in 200 The Modane Centre offers food aid through access to free meals, to be cooked at home and distributed by volunteers. Any person with temporary or long-term difficulties can benefit. All that is required is to register, according to certain criteria specific to the association (income is taken into account).
Over a coffee and throughout the morning of the opening, it is also a time of friendly meeting and a time of listening between the people received and the volunteers.
This food aid can be supplemented, as far as we are able, by support for those who wish it, by helping them to integrate socially and economically.
