Description
The Fourneaux Town Hall has joined forces with France Alzheimer Savoie to open a therapeutic reception centre. This service is aimed at people suffering from Alzheimer's disease or related disorders, living at home, and their relatives. Managed by the Association Alzheimer Savoie-Accueil
this project was made possible thanks to the support and
co-financing of :
- The Intercommunal Centre of Haute Maurienne Vanoise
- The Savoie Departmental Council
- The Rhône Alpes Regional Health Agency
The Fourneaux day centre offers :
For patients :
- A space fitted out for people with a loss of autonomy,
- A team of specifically trained professionals (nurse, psychologist,
A team of specially trained professionals (nurse, psychologist, medical-psychological assistant, etc.)
- A reception that favours listening, well-being, discussion, maintaining social links and conviviality,
- Activities to mobilise and maintain cognitive abilities and preserve autonomy.
For families :
- A service that allows them to take time for themselves, to "breathe", to recharge their batteries during the time the sick person is being cared for,
- A place for information, exchange and learning.
Transportation from home is possible.
Date et horaire d'ouverture
All year round, every Tuesday and Friday between 9.30 am and 5 pm.
Reception between 9:30 and 10:00
Closing time between 16.30 and 17.00
Half-day reception possible.
