Description

New merged Val Cenis fishing association (from Lanslevillard (gorges bordering Bessans) to Bramans (upstream of the EDF water intake). Several courses: 1 no-kill zone; 1 Arcs and valley bottom zone and finally a lakes and tributaries zone. From March 8, 2025: The "No Kill" trail, signposted and located between the "Richard" gravel pit and the confluence of the Repelen stream.

From April 5, 2025: the Arc, from the foot of the Lanslevillard gorges to upstream of the Bramans EDF water intake.
The lower reaches of the Doron as far as the Villard bridge.

From June 7, 2025: gorges de Lanslevillard bordering Bessans, Arc tributaries and mountain lakes.

Triple hooks and barbs are forbidden throughout the fishing area.
Limit of 5 fish per person per day, minimum size 25cm (Grayling 30cm).
Fishing cards may be refused or withdrawn in the event of any breach of the law or of the rules and regulations.

No Kill" course, fishing exclusively with artificial lures (flies, spoons) and equipped with a single barbless hook. Fish of any size must be released alive.

Course opening dates depend on the area. The course closes on October 12, 2025.

The Gaule de Val Cenis card alone is not enough, you must also have a valid fishing license issued by an AAPPMA.
