Description
Bonneval-sur-Arc welcomes La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin. Dozens of sled dog teams arrive from the Oratoire to cross the Old Village, where a number of activities await you. Over the years, La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin has established itself as the meeting place for the elite of mid-distance mushers.
The 7th stage, Bessans - Bonneval-sur-Arc - Val-Cenis polar base, will support the Allianz Trophy.
The mass-start on the vast Bessans plateau is a must-see!
From 3.30 pm to 4 pm, the teams set off in a single line, with dozens of dogs stamping their feet, ready to fight it out to be the first to reach the end of the plateau.
Between 4:30 and 6:15 pm, this stage will also pass through the neighboring resort of Bonneval-sur-Arc, before arriving at the Col du Mont Cenis, at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
A great spectacle, with free entertainment in the start village.
